There are many kinds of tarpaulins, including automobile tarpaulins. However, the common forms of such tarpaulins during installation are as follows:
1. Arc: it absorbs the advantages of triangle and square, overcomes and prevents the disadvantages of triangle and square to a certain extent, and because the domestic transportation environment was greatly improved, this shape was widely used in domestic trucks at the beginning.
2. Triangle: normally, it is only used by transportation companies in Plateau and mountainous areas. Its advantages are good drainage conditions, no ponding, and it is not easy to touch the mountain and scratch the tarpaulin. The disadvantage is that the volume is small, it is not easy to transport light bubble goods, and the tarpaulin is easy to contact with substances. For example, the tarpaulin is prone to material degeneration due to water seepage.
3. Square: this situation is often adopted by truck manufacturers. Its advantage is that the car volume is large and flat. The disadvantage is that the drainage condition is poor, and the top is easy to form a groove or concave shape and ponding. If the quality of the tarpaulin is poor, the water is easy to penetrate into the carriage, so that the material becomes damp and degenerate. At the same time, due to the association of accumulated water, the deterioration of the tarpaulin is slowed down, and because of the square edges and corners, it is easy to scratch the tarpaulin when driving in mountainous areas.
